We went back to the drawing board to create the incredible new Z-Axis Series Fast Action Rods. By improving the entire rod-building process, we created a rod that's significantly lighter, stronger and easier to cast for anglers of all skill levels. The Z-Axis offers an entirely new level of fishability with unprecedented line feel, response and performance.

 

The Switch Rod is hybrid of a single handed and a two handed rod. It can be fished traditionally with single overhand casting. It can be fished by traditional Spey methods. We recommend using a Sage Indicator Taper Fly Line for single hand use. The recommended lines for Spey style fishing are Rio's AFS Outbound, Windcutter Spey, and Skagit.
