Sage SP Spin Rod

Sage SP Spin Rod
The reality is that there are times when the fish won't touch a fly. Either live bait or another type of artificial lure is going to be the ticket. If you are half way around the world, say Christmas Island, it's great to have spin rod rigged and ready to go to take that shot at a trevally. Or if you are down in Cabo, and your fly rods are rigged for Dorado, and there is a Pacific Sailfish within casting distance. Chuck that mackerel, and be ready to hold on! SP 570-3 7'0" power 5, 3-piece A powerhouse designed to handle big, strong fish like tarpon and large permit, yet still offer a deceivingly sensitive feel.  FREE SHIPPING IN THE USA!

I own a 570-3 Sage Gear rod. It came in handy one day on the Sea of Cortez. For whatever reason, the Dorado wouldn\'t key in on flies. I switched to my Sage Gear rod and fished Sardina. The rod saved the day! My 570-3 has plenty of backbone. I hooked into a small Pacific Sailfish (I\'m guessing 85 pounds). Unfortunately, it threw the hook.
