Big, bad, and ugly is what describes this stonefly nymph.  Use this as the "bomb" fly to get those big fish from deeper, tumbly runs.  The Ugly Bug works great as a Pteranarces nymph.  It also works as a great attractor nymph with its flagellating rubber legs.  Dennis from the shop loves Skagit style dredging this fly on the Lower Yuba in Northern California.
