Cortland Precision Quick Descent
Sometimes you need to get your fly down to where the fish are lurking. Enter Cortland's Precision Quick Descent (QD) fly line. This will get your fly down and get it down fast! Use it on lakes, rivers, or the saltwater. The QD line can be taken anywhere!
The QD line is a 30 foot sink tip. The first 24 feet makes the sinking portion. The remaining 6 feet is floating which makes picking the line off the water an easy chore.
175 Grain (4-8wt) 3.5"/second sink rate
225 Grain (6-9wt) 4.5"/second sink rate
325 Grain (7-11wt) 5"/second sink rate
425 Grain (8-12wt) 6.5"/second sink rate

This is my favorite swing line for Steelhead and American Shad. These sink tips have the right tip lengths and sink rates.
